Artist Retreats 2010
Domaine du Haut Baran invites you to experience our little corner of France with an artist's appreciation. Participants of past workshops have described the Haut Baran and our area as a little corner of paradise. The subject matter is so diverse and picturesque, the canvas practically paints itself! No matter what the direction you look in, from unspoiled panoramic landscapes to flower-garlanded villages, to up-close contrasting perspectives with the golden stone used in the medieval architecture here, there is something for everyone. The different seasons bring their own special surprises, as we enjoy wisteria-draped arbores in April, rose-covered homes in May, lavender and sunflower fields in June/July, and colourful mature summer gardens in Aug/Sept. William and Rosalie have created two separate workshops for artists with different needs: the “Instructorless” Workshop and the "Artist's Retreat".
“Instructorless” Workshop
This 10-day workshop is for experienced artists who want to work at their own pace and paint in their own medium and style. Offered at various times of the year, for example when the lavender and sunflower fields are in bloom, this workship gives a seasonal dimension to the landscape. Combine this with the fairy tale setting of Domaine du Haut Baran, with its comfortable luxury and delicious cuisine , and you too will claim it as your little piece of paradise.

Artist's Retreat
This 7 day workshop appeals to artists of all abilities , who want maximum flexibility as to travel dates.There are a selection of dates in 2009. Designed to accommodate from 2 to 6 persons travelling together, the per person price is lower for more people, so bring that spouse along! There is plenty for them to see and do!
