For 2023 Richard McKinley and the Domaine du Haut Baran are proposing a 10 day adventure package and 7day workshop only option. The dates for the 10 day adventure is June 22 - July 1, leave July 2nd , 2023. We are expanding our standard 7day workshop at Haut Baran, adding 3 days to explore Bordeaux - famous for it's wine and food ! The extra 3 days for the 10 day adventure ( June 22,23 and 24 ) has you arriving Bordeaux Merignac Airport and includes staying in the Bordeaux region for a total of 3 nights exploring the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE old quarter on the Bordeaux waterfront including the GRAND THEATRE and PLACE DES QUINCONCES and finally exploring Saint Emilion which is world renown for the wine and monolithic church in the middle of the medieval town. You will be spending 3 days in Bordeaux with Richard McKinley ( discussing art and history with no organized art lessons planned for the 3 days ). After our 3 days of Bordeaux on June 25th we go right into the 7 day workshop at the Haut Baran with organized painting lessons and on location - en plein air painting. The 7 day workshop only option has you arriving Toulouse Airport June 25th for transfer to Haut Baran , then everyone from the 10 day adventure and 7 day workshop only departs July 2nd from Toulouse Airport.
